The door was open just a bit, an invitation to any who happened to pass that way. It beckoned to me ~ won’t you come in and sit for a while...share a tale, and rest your wandering feet. I could hear the soft sound of pottery clinking, and the humming of a wistful song drifted out to where I stood on the shady pebble path.
